I would say death... why does it happen to us every 3 mimutes?

nothing is pointless on this earth, in some weird and twisted way everything is here for a reason. Like the other day in science class i made a comment about spiders being useless (im phobic and wouldnt care if they all dropped dead) well then the teacher went into a BIG ( and i mean BIIIIG) lecture about spiders keeping the balance by eating the flys, otherwise we'd be swamped by millions of billions of trillions of flys!!!!! So i guess i can thank the spiders for that.lol
and i wouldnt say death is. Death is the most important in some ways- if we didnt have death at the end of life it would be like we're not living- what would be the point of getting up in the morning if this morning is going to come FOREVER, with no end. There wouldnt be such a thing as time and we'd all just be lulling about because there wouldnt be a death at the end of life. I think death is VERY important for a good life.

Hmm.....Is there really anything on earth that doesn't have some kind of purpose. Even bugs have a reason to be here. I was gonna say disease but If we don't eventually die there wouldn't be enough room for everyone on the earth. I believe everything has a purpose no matter how small it's purpose may be.

Death isn't pointless at all...it is a necessary part of the life-cycle. Without death we would overrun the planet and use up all the resources, thereby leading to our extinction as a species.
I think the most pointless thing on Earth is David Hasselhoff.

Is death really pointless though? Our physical bodies wear out as we get older, and if we were to stay alive with bodies that were falling apart.. we'd be quite a mess.
I don't know if there is anything completely pointless on the earth.. but I would have to say that the appendix would rank up there pretty high though :)

death is acctually important. if people didnt die, there would be too many of us. no more food, land, water, houses, money. everything is on earth for a reason. you may not think so but if you look at it in a differetn way. you will see the greater side. so your question is maybe the pointless thing in life.
