1st World Countries are countries that a) are democracies b) are technologically advanced c) have a high standard of living (usually measured by per capita income).

"2nd World Country" is an obsolete term used to specifically describe communist states influenced by the Soviet Union during the cold war. Since the Soviet Union is no longer around, the term is no longer used.

3rd World countries are countries that are not industrially developed and not technologically advanced in comparison to 1st World countries.

"First World" refers to advanced capitalist countries. "Second World" refers to Communist (Marxist) countries. "Third World" refers to countries that are less developed technologically and politically, so that they don't fit into the First or Second categories. During the Cold War, both sides hoped to bring Third World countries into their sphere of influence.
These terms were employed during the Cold War. They are somewhat outdated now. Following the fall of the USSR, most members of the Communist bloc have embraced many aspects of capitalism; China had done so already. And many Capitalist countries have incorporated elements of socialism.
