Most of the time males are excluded from consideration of their professional massage services because of past incidents and misconduct from other males. Females don't intially trust a male therapists for fear of sexual or ulterior motives and males do not tradtiionally feel comfortables for other males to touch them, perhaps for the same non-justified ratonale. Males can perform massage therapy services professionally just as therir female counterparts. The issue really is building trust with a client, but the prejudice stereotype has been negative towards males for the most part in this industry
