Like if a girlfriend got close to her boyfriend's family - hanging out with his brothers and talking to his sisters (esp. talking to his sisters more than him)....is it possible he would get jealous?

I think he likes the fact that i'm close with his family but maybe he's jealous that he's not getting AS MUCH attention from me?

it depends on the type of girl she is and what type of family you have... it all has to balance out. As long as at the end of the day everybody gets along and she keeps the boyfriend just as happy as she keeps the family... than there shouldn't be any problems...

Jealousy is always possible, it's a common emotion when we want something we don't have or see something we wish we had, it's like that saying *the grass is always greener on the other side*, I have seen it happen many times in what your describing to, usually it is because that person does not have a close family like that, and is lacking what you have, so they are jealous. Another thing would be with the jealousy, is that that person may wonder what is being said about them, since it is the family that is getting close to the other person, so they fear what is being said.

why? he should enjoy his girlfriend fitting in with his family. Too many times these days do you see parents of one person hating who their son/daughter is with. The guy should notice this as a good sign and keep it up. Not get jealous.

YES YES YES YES YES YES!!! See, men want their family to approve of you and like you, but men are spoiled and selfish. They still want to be number 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10. They want to be the baby! They want all of the attention. a tip is to hang out with the fam on days and at times you and him cannot hang out. That way you aren't giving ya'll time to anyone else! Believe me, I've been through this.

Yes, it's possible, but he'd get over it, some. It's more likely he'd be jealous of her family, if her family's possesive of her, immoral, aloof, controling, prohibitive, cold hearted, manipulative, snobbish and over bearing.

Uh, YEA. Boyfriends, depending on hoe much he loves her, will get jealous its the whole "she's mine, and her time is with me " deal. Boys get jealous that way... there always like "what about me?"

sure i get jealous when my best friend gets to be too buddy-buddy with my family so I'm sure a boyfriend could get jealous

i guess
cuz wouldnt u be mad if he started hanging out ur dad
more than you
and he rather spent time with him watching sport games and playing video games
then going out with you
so i guess its possible
