Found a fawn, mother is died. Need to know what is best to feed it? Thinking of try either puppy or kitten forumal, would this work. Any know web sites?

You need to call someone to take the fawn like the DNR or something similar. I don't know about all states but in Michigan you can go to jail for handling a deer. Leave it alone and call someone.

If its still has its spot and will not take any food then it need milk and you need to call a vet because feed the fawn the wrong thing is going to make it worst.The fawn may not be able to handle the milk you give it.

You shouldn't feed the fawn. Instead, call Fawn Rescue services at once.

In many states keeping a fawn is illegal. Save youself greif, look in the yellow pages for a wildlife rehabilitator.

In alot of places at least in teh united sates you need a license to have one. You need to call a vet and ask for a local wildlife rehaber. As far as feeding there is special diet and it's to much to get into. You may also want to call a local zoo for help.

Apples ???? Call a local vet that u trust or look up an Animal (Wildlife) Control business in your area....they should assist u.

I've always seen Deer eating berries/shrubs off trees

uh y dont u try animal rescue. u shouldnt b taking care of a wild animal cause when u get tired of n release it into the wild then it wont no how to take care of itself. then it will b 2 friendly with humans n a poacher will kill it 4 its fur. but anyway 2 answer ur question try horse milk or apples or hay(depending on its age).

dont try that. give it hay,grass or you can go on fosterandsmith.com or petsmart.com they give horse products.
