I met a man online last week and we agreed to meet for coffee. He was nice but no sparks. I did think it was ok if he kissed me goodbye. I intended a peck. I got dancing tongue movement.
I think kissing is wonderful. I like deep open mouth kisses with not a lot of tongue action. Is this a woman thing? I can count on 2 fingers in my whole life the men who did not shove their tongue down my throat on the first kiss. Do guys think we like that? Am I the one who is strange.

This man's action was uncalled for and reveals the desperation of many men who's impatience has led them to singledom. First kisses should make you nervous, because you're waiting for it and you WANT it. The moment should linger, too. Kissing is very powerful and too often taken for granted.

I personally like to keep the tongue for 'special' occasions...unless it's going somewhere (and soon!) to me it smacks too much of desperate drunken groping in night-clubs. Not that I ever did any of that...heh heh heh.
I've actually known quite a few men who don't like tongue action and don't generally do it either. Perhaps this particular guy knew it was all he'd ever get from you so he was making the most of it!

A lot of guys think women are into that. I live in texas and a lot of women seem to be. But I think a nice soft kiss is best. At least to start. Depends on the person and situation. However you are def not wierd or strange.

I hate it when guys want to shove their tongue down my throat...I like slow, passionate, kisses with just a little tongue...but even that not on the first date...the last guy I dated was extremely knowledgeable in that department...but he moved home to California :(.......

Im an all out tongue person.. I dnt like it most of the tiem when its just simple kisses. but if they are hard kisses it awesome :D

Not all guys are like that. My ex didn't kiss me until our third date. It was refreshing, but it definitely took me sometime to realize that not all guys are creeps like that.
