Only five reasons? I can give you a whole lot more than five!
1.) Traditional family values. That Mayberry sense of living that the country left behind in the 60s can still be found in most of Denver. Sunday is a church day and there is a great church-going culture here. The church still acts as a focal part of the community. Also, family is huge here. Colorado has one of the highest birth rates in the county---TONS of kids around. Everything is family-centered.
2.) Weather. Do you like the sun?
3.) Natural Beauty. Those mountains are pretty damn special. They really are. And the picturesque beauty of the plains isn't so bad, either.
4.) Sports. The area is very outdoorsy, active, and sporty. We've got professional sports--especially the Broncos--and if you're into the outdoors you'll love it here.
5.) Conservative! I guess this totally depends on your politics. If you're a conservative you'll love this place. Lots of patriotic, God-fearing, hard-working Republicans around. If you're a liberal, maybe numbers 2,3,4 can tide you over.

1) Best weather in the country if you like seasons. It does get cold sometimes and it does snow but neither stick around for long, usually. Tons of sunny days.
2) The city is making a huge comeback. It might be hard to auto commute from the suburbs but you really don't have to. There is tons of redevelopment close to the city and a number of big mass transit projects around the metro area.
3) If you enjoy daily outdoor activities you can't beat Denver. Between the 300+ sunny days and the super active community there is always something to do outside, right in the city. Running events ever weekend, lots of triathlons and bike races. Also, the park systems provide tons of opportunity for outdoor leisure.
4) The people are great. The state itself is split basically 1/3 Dem, 1/3 Republican and 1/3 independent. It shows in the people you meet. Lots of different opinions from many very well educated people. Influences from the east coast, west coast and midwest..
5) The night life is good. Between the 4 major sports teams and numerous minor sports teams there is always a game to attend, Lower Downtown has a great bar scene and the restaruants are good if not great.

you're making very reliable factors in all of those. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that Nene isn't a greater powerful participant than Camby. Nene is a greater powerful offensive post participant, yet it relatively is it. Camby replaced into the suitable susceptible part shot blocker interior the NBA for the previous few years and is between the suitable offensive and shielding rebounders interior the league. Nene has in no way averaged greater advantageous than 7 or 8 rebounds a interest. So your incorrect on that ingredient of Nene being all around greater powerful than Camby because of the fact he's not. you're marvelous although approximately chucky Atkins and J.R. Smith. Smith is extremely reliable and has a ton of upside. The nuggets won't make the playoffs because of the fact the West is going to be much harder than final 300 and sixty 5 days and the Nuggets won't have the interior protection that Camby delivered. ok-mart is greater of a fringe defender, even although he's 6'9.

There aren't five good reasons to move to Denver. I can give you several good reasons not to.
P.S.- some of these people above must be living in a different world. I guess if they came here from Detroit or East L.A. (that's probably it) maybe the crime is low and the people are friendly but I've been here 44 years total and if I were going to give Colorado an enema, I'd stick the nozzle right in the capitol lawn.

1)Beautiful mountains all year round! Skiing/boarding in the winter. White water rafting, hiking, camping, etc in the summer !
2) nicest people you will ever meet. People are really tolerant and open minded.
3) Weather is awesome here! No humidity.
Oh and the weather is really unpredictable! Last week we had this crazy hail/flood storm in the afternoon when in the morning it was all sunny. LOL
4)Denver.. wouldn't recommend living there because of the crazy rates, but places like Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Aurora, etc are great places to live.
5)So much to do in Colorado! Malls [Colorado Mills, Park Meadows, Southlands (where I live!), Cherry Creek, Flatirons] ; Pepsi Center (concerts/baseball games/hockey games); Invesco Field (football games); Elitch Gardens (amusement park); Water World; 16th streeet..
Just to name a few.
