system restore doesnt work for me and im just on the middle of backing up my files and i wasted so far like 10 discs and like 10 more to go so i was wondering could anything ever go wrong i dont want this to be a waste on start up i can push ctrl f11 and recover my computer to the first day i got it but i need to know will it defo work because im all excited and dont want to be turned down.

I have had to perform it twice and yes it does restore back to day one.

This depends On what back up you doing.....
if your doing a Dell System systems restore, then yes it will work,
if your doing your own backup to restore your system, it will restore everything that you have backed up..... including any viruses or errors you may have on your system now

It will wipe it clean, so be sure that is what you want it to do. The programs you've downloaded on your computer will no longer exist.
