Okay, it is my favorite show ever made, but seriously, the finale was awful! Just saying, post any thoughts you have because I am wondering what other people think.

It was a very bizarre episode. I was slightly confused after I watched it...how could they just send everyones' lives down the drain and leave us with dispair all summer? I think that Grey's has had a lot of misses this season...it's becoming more ER-like (and another over-the-top medical drama is the last thing we need right now). Honestly, I think I will stop watching next year, both because of the depressing outlook and because the office is being moved to start at the same time ;).

I completely agree. I used to be a HUGE grey's fan, but after that finale, I'm not sure I want to come back next season. I mean first off it was so damn depressing, not to mention this entire season has been so damn depressing. And all that Meredith/Derek crap was just nonsensical. And what's with Burke walking out like that?!?
Jeez!
About the only thing that was marginally interesting was that Meredith's sister is one of the new surgical interns for next year; that has some potential. But seriously, I'm not sure I want to keep watching the show. It's too depressing, I can't keep doing it.
But since I'm such a huge fan, I'll give the new season a chance, but if it doesn't shape up quickly, I don't think I'll be in it for long. There are plenty of other good shows out there that I miss to watch Grey's, so I'm not going to keep doing it out of habit, it better be worth it for me.

I'm a huge fan, must admit because I adore Mer/Der relationship. I also think that finale was awful. But, I hope that there is a chance of improvement. It was same between Carrie and Mr.Big, they went on and off for six seasons and then it was happy end. So, I'm waiting for a season four and think that:
Derek and Meredith will be perfect together (not necessarily in this season)
Burk and Cristina will also be fine (unmarried)
Izzie and George will be together in love.
If I'm wrong, I'm not going to watch show any more
Who needs sad storries?

i was very disappointed for the finale. I dont think that george should of failed that test. I am glad that meridith and derek broke up. i had a feeling burke would not get married. I wish chief would have been given to miranda instead of derek.

I didn't think it was horrible, but I kept comparing it to last years finale. Which was amazing. Season three didn't even come close to season two. Sandra Oh is awesome though.

i think they are kicking merdith off and needed a new "grey" so it could still be grey's anatomy.
i dont know what else you didnt like about it but i thought it was ok.
