I live in Arkansas, on a farm, and I consider them a varmint, and something like that, there isn't anything that my .22 wouldn't take care of. I imagine my answer will get some pretty negative feedbacks, but oh well. I guess I will check back later and see how many thumbs down that I get!

If its rabid it will shortly be dead - Rabies is always fatal. It's rare in a rodent such as a woodchuck. Now they can be a pain digging holes...
