I have tried to install WMP10 and when I've done all the steps save etc, etc, and it seems like its going through the whole process and it takes about 2 hrs and it only reaches up to 61% and a error: message comes out saying that it was not possible to complete setup./windows media player was not installed. AND another error window comes out saying An error occurred while deleting file c:\windows media player\wmd.dll, Also on the bottom of that error says Data error (cyclic redundancy check) (error#23). If anyone can help I appreciate it:)

Just dump the loser. You don't love him, you depend on him. Kick him to the curb and keep the apartment. You feel miserable and you're with him, why not try it without him? You may be surprised to find you feel relieved. If he was hunting for women on Craig's list, I'd make an appointment at a women's health clinic and get every STD test they offer! Who knows what else he has done you don't know about? He is not committed to this marriage, so why let him drag you through hell until he finds one worthy of leaving you for? Have some self-respect. Put his bags on the front porch and change the locks. Believe me, I know how hard it is to end a marriage, but this one needs ending. You'll never be able to trust him again, and he isn't interested in trying to make it better. Get out before you waste any more time on this. When you eventually meet the one you're meant to be with, you'll be glad you did.

cyclic redundancy check is a very big hint for those of us who knew it - disk error; normally from the source where data is read, in this case the disc or whatever WMP setup file came from. Do a fresh install using another source. I personally won't use a half baked bundled product like WMP but you might feel differently.
