Both i like both of them. They are both talented singers and are very good at what they do. But if i had to pick the better role model for girls i would go with Hilary b/c she's a very down to earth person. Pe@ce out!! =)

Sorry, but betwixt the two can't say I am a fan of either, but for the sake of choosing I would have to go with Avril, she is a tad better and not as annoying as Hilary, personal opinion

Hilary.
Everyone makes Avril out to be someone who is trying to be herself. Fortunately for me I don't buy it, and see through it. It's almost like she tries too hard to be "herself" and prove it to everyone else. It's kind of immature. She is trying to be something different, I will give her that, not another Barbie. But if I had to sit in a room with her talking for more than five minutes I would pray to be deaf. Hilary at least seem to be nice and mature.

i like them both but i think hilary because she is more talented,being actress and singer and a way better rome model avril is a good singer but hilary is a better person
