Originally we were hairy all overs, having descended from the apes. However over millions of years we lost the hair since it no longer served as an advantage (keeping us warm). The remaining hair is just left over (as it were) and in another few million years will probably also disappear (and possibly that from our heads as well).

Well if you bealive that God exists you could say that he made them becouse he has a sence of humor ,or becouse his is not benoveland,or just becouse he wanted to make beauticians rich.
