"What's so special about Ubuntu, than other Linux's?"?

"Because I'm currently using SUSE and I think it's awesome. But I'm new to Linux and I'm still learning how to use SUSE. On the other hand, I see that Ubuntu is #1 on a lot of charts. And I want to know why?"

It took approaches that are 'questionable' by those Free Software ppl but makes using a new OS much simpler and adaptation much smoother, that's why Ubuntu is on those charts, it is streamlined and no-frill.

not sure except that it's based on debian, I've tried it myself and found it to be a well put together linux distro, you can probably try the live cd to see what it's all about
