The roof of a downtown apartment. A nice table set up there, a bottle of wine.....and the memorial day fireworks. It'll be perfect! I love summer nights. :)

I'm not much of a party animal - even in Leeds where there's so much night life - but maybe we could go for an Indian meal at Aagrah (on the ground floor of the new BBC Leeds headquarters), then round the corner to "The Wardrobe" (building used to be wardrobe dept of the West Yorkshire Playhouse but is now a music venue/bar/coffee house) to listen to some live jazz, then maybe on to Jongleurs comedy club to end the evening with some laughs. I might invite you back to my house for a cuppa but I'd send you home before you turned into a pumpkin.

It all depends on: your age, your present state of health, how imaginative of adventurous you are, and how much money you have/want to spend!
Movies are always a "safe" bet...
then, there's "going to a sit down meal", at a nice restaurant...
or, going to an amusement park...
or, someplace that has: "booths where you can test your skill" and "win prizes", and "rides" (like a marry-go-round, ferris wheel, or bumper cars!)...
then, there's always... "going for a romantic walk" at:
the beach, or, near a lake or stream...
or, going to the "top of a hillside"... that has a "fantastic view" of the "valley or city lights" below!!!
or, "going for a romantic drive... to someplace "exotic" or "special"...
like, (here in Karloffornia: BIG SUR, THE MONTEREY PENINSULA, or, THE FORESTS or NATIONAL PARKS... to, "go camping" for the weekend!!!)
i hope that that gives you "some ideas"...

To the movies to see "Pirates" or "Spiderman" and then to my friend's house for a BBQ with all the fixins (potato salad, rolls, ribs, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, coleslaw, corn on the cob, collard greens, a choice of soda, water or wine or beer and sweet potato pie or carrot cake for dessert). It's a nice evening to go out and a 3 day weekend.

I'm in the mood too,but there is one hell of a storm here.High winds and absolutely chucking it down.Don't think we'd make it past the front gate.Another time maybe?
