I understand that we are in a deficit and owe notes mostly to China but are there countries that owe America? Which ones?

The whole world owes America for being the leader in freedom, free enterprise, justice, democracy, science, medicine, engineering....

Deficit and debt are not interchangeable words. They have completely different meanings.
The US and other countries lent money to developing nations during the Cold War. Some of those debts have been forgiven, but many of them are still outstanding. The US also gave European countries aid during World War II and after World War II, but the USA never demanded that the debts be paid back. I don't know if they're technically owe any more since the US government seems to have forgiven the debts.

Nobody owes America which is why the deficitis are growing by the Trillions with each passing year.

The us has a trade deficit with about 60 countries.
We have a trade surplus with about 130 countries.
The problam is, we have trade deficits with our largest trading partners.
Americans might ***** and whine about the trade deficit, but they will not change their buying habits, to prevent it or lower it.
So the next time you see someone driving a Toyoto, Honda, etc, they are the cause of the trade deficit.

It would probably be faster to name the countries we do not owe money.
The US is the biggest creditor and debtor nation on the globe and I bet that's surprising to some people.

I believe the people in Iraq owes America billions of dollars for the lies told to our Pres. Bush. We would not have been involved this civil war, and our soldiers would not have suffered. Moreso we would not have the damages this war caused America in the Billions. So who owes America, I say Iraq government owes BIG TIME TO AMERICA...

Countries come in and invest in ours, and we invest in their's.
We are the richest country in the world, thanks to Capitalism & Freedom.
Want to care about "Deficits"? Just wait until the Democrats get through with us.
