people in school are calling me a headbanger but i don't listen to heavy metal all i listen to is Pink, Hinder, Nickelback, and Avril Lavinge so thats not heavy metel is it i really don't think so but i need some back up on this

You are not a headbanger. Pink and avril are pop punk artist I would say, nickleback and hinder are rock. If they say anthing be like listen I am not a head banger, If I was I would be listening to bands like Metalica, Slayer, and Pantera. Maybe that will get them to leave you alone. Good Luck

That's what they're calling headbanging music today? Play some Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth from the 80's for them and they'll see what a real headbanger listens to.

I'm 47 love soft rock, but I do go to rock clubs. In my teens I was called rocker, biker and Headbanger. Ive also played in a few bands. I think as your at school, labels are given without real knowledge or experience, Id say your taste is pop rock but younger people especially chart watches, if they see long hair or leather or here Pink or Nickel going ape they class it as heavy rock.

people are dumb in school, dont pay attention to what they say, they will always be quick to fit you with a bean can label...
