Of course. I'm sure we all know people who are like that. Even among the ones who aren't quite at the house/car stage, it's the bigger/better/newer playstation or mp3 player, or the latest shoes/purse.

Yes,and it was put in clear terms to me,when I questioned my boyfriend on this,he said "Kelly,it just means they are more in debut,and have more racked up credit card bills etc....it doesn't necessarily mean they have more money,,,,,but they do have allot more worry hanging over their head....

yeah, my best friend and her hubby are constantly upgrading.
they now have the biggest house, a few 4 wheelers, a 65 inch lcd tv, a camper, brand new cars, 4 ipods??, they each have their own new fancy laptops, i dun get it...
