I'd go to college and she wouldnt even talk to me to ask me how i was or anything...so i stopped there because i was tired of trying (i did try to be her friend) today after 2 months of not talking she called me to ask me to go pick her up because she forget her car keys in her boyfriends car...i was about to enjoy a pasta alfredo and ready to answer questions here...im tired and i dont think its fair what should i do?

just say no.. you don't have to give excuses...

remember that you probably weren't the first person that she called and they all said no - - - you should too.

enjoy your meal!

It is obvious, she calls you only when she needs your help. If I were you, I will not return her call. Just enjoy your pasta alfredo and sit pretty infront of your computer answering questions like what I am doing right now. She is not a true friend, so don't worry about her.

It sounds like she may be maturing faster than you are. She has a boyfriend; do you? Could it be that you are a little jealous? It is normal for a girl to give most of her attention to a new boyfriend as she is experiencing the glow of being "in love." She still needs you for a friend. Be patient with her. The time will come when your attention is consumed by a new boyfriend, and you will have time for little else. If you are truly her friend, help her when she asks. She will need you when the glow is gone.

Don't go bailing out a former friend, who could not even find the time to talk to you, and DO NOT feel guilty, just call her back, and tell her sorry your busy, and can't pick her up, tell her your in the middle of dinner &converstion with friends, it's not really even a white lie, you are!

Forget it. Friends like that should be forgotten. If they can act cold and selfish, why should you try to be a friend. I would say I'm busy and enjoy the pasta Alredo.

well i think a good true friend is always there no matter what. me and my friend i have known for 8 years have a mutual understanding about our boys coming first. I hardly ever talk to the gurl but she is the only one i consider a BEST friend because she is ALWAYS there for me no matter what it is and I'm the same way with her. We NEVER judge each other we are just always there for each other. Dont be selfish shes infatuated with her new boy so give her space. just be a good friend and offer her anything you have to give, if shes not willing to do the same you know what kind of friend she is, and you can move on from there. good luck

Is it funny that only when they need something they pop up out of now here *cough cough* and hope you feel sympathy for them and help them?...don't help that fair weathered flake. I bet she'll hide under a rock after this and you won't know where she is until again* she needs you to help her get out of whatever mess she got herself into.

don't do it...she only called you because she needed something. That is not the type of friend that you want...let her know about your problem and if you see a change in her then things will be better if not then just drop her as a friend and look for new ones.

Tell her u dont want to be used and that u arent going to do all of this stuff for her when she isnt going to give anything back. Its just not worth it.

It sounds like she only wants to be your friend when its going to benefit her. I wouldn't help her. I would let her ask someone else. Maybe she's doing this to others as well.
