but the computer froze and nothing happened, had to reboot to get the computer to work again. Do you think this transaction went through, it didn't say anything the screen was blank?

Are you sure you were using a legitimate web page? This can be a sign that the web page was fraudulent. Was the address https://.........? The s indicates a secure connection. I would attempt to contact the web site owner by phone or email to see if the deal was registered. Don't try to use the web site again until you know it's legit. Also keep a good eye on your card transactions just in case the details have been misused.

Call up your credit card company and ask for your account balance or that you speak with someone. This will verify whether your transaction went through or you'll have to do it again; Otherwise, you may be using your card twice.
