Yes. I'm horrible in social situations. I tend to be very self conscious, hide as much as possible, and tell the absolute most stupid jokes. Sad thing is that I know exactly what I'm doing while I'm doing it but I cannot seem to stop!! It's horrible!!

Then I leave and smile at who I'm with and say "That went well, didn't it?"

To which they roll their eyes, take me home, and I never hear from them again LOL

Yes - sometimes I hate it when I have to go somewhere and I know everyone, too.

I hate going to places where I don't know anyone. I find it difficult to trust people to begin with and I find it just as hard to warm up to people. So, if I have to go anywhere, I prefer that it be where I know the people.

I have been asked to speak many times out of my immediate area where people I knew couldn't come. I always get apprehensive at first. Then as it turns out the people that asked you to come make you very comfortable because they want you there.

Sometimes that can be fun. I don't know anybody in my new neighborhood so I've been going through that everywhere. It's been scary too.
