End of humanity?

When will it be? Any crazy predictions of when and why?
My prediction: 2150, Cause: World War 3

My guess is that *humanity* will last about thirty more years. Unfortunately, the hominine species will go out during a major nuclear exchange which will make this planet uninhabitable except for possibly some highly adaptable insect species, such as cockroaches.

The only way humanity would be wiped off the earth is the same way the dinosaurs were. By some gigantic meteoite which caused world wide havoc. Anything going now will never end humanity. Wars, sickness, plagues. Man always survives. And even with the meteroite wiping out man you will still have the planet earth with other animals, etc.

By the way, end of humanity does NOT = the end of the world. Believe it or not, the earth is more than humanity. People are just one kind of animal roaming the earth, at one point in time.

Though if China and India continue reproducing at the rate they're at right now, that will cause extremely serious consequences in the future. In Europe and the US, the population growth is actually declining because people are getting older but having less children.

If universal history teaches us anything, we know that nothing lasts forever and nothing ever ends; it only changes.

Will humanity, as we know it, end? Probably - but it would be evolution that does it, not a war. A war may speed up the process but evolution and change will do it.

That's why we don't have Neanderthals and other pre-historic people and animals walking around the globe with us. Survival of the fittest will always rule evolution.

Hmmm never quite thought of it as a dead on year thing but Ill throw out 2093 by then much of the world would be runned by Islam radicals since the birth ratio is 6 to 1 I believe. And China will be our biggest ally.
