What a strange question? Do you mean he has to leave his right hand free when watching these movies? I have never heard of lefthanded remote controls. I suppose there are none.

I was under the assumption that remote controls are universal which should allow him to be able to use either hand. Also, if he were any kind of man at all, he would be able to use both hands!!
Buck up, and use the left hand!!

strap something to his head with a bit of wire coming down so he can use the remote
or you could do it for him then he would have 2 hands one to smoke with and the other to turn the page on the mag
