I like the soft rain with thunder and lightening in the distance. I really like it when I am at home and it's the middle of the day. When this happens I cuddle up on the couch or the bed with a really good book and relax. ;)

I prefer heavy rain. Soft rain is non descript and doesn't seem to be any use. I like listening to heavy rain beat against the window at night. Does that make me sad? I don't care.

Heavy Rain because you know where you are with that
Soft rain just gets everywhere and it ruins your hair

Heavy rain - because it's more dramatic and I like dramatic weather. Soft rain is just boring and makes you damp and your hair go frizzy

Heavy rain....and im not really sure why, i´ve just always loved the sound of heavy rain and the refreshing feeling it brings. :)
