My husband and I are disagreeing on a name for our baby girl... Please help me decide which is better... Madeline Claire or Amber Claire. Any input is greatly appreciated!

i like Madeline Claire better...i think it is becuse, well, first of all, i like the name, and secondly because since Claire has only one syllabul, the three syllabuls of madeline sounds better with it...hope this helps!

Maybe use both names?
If you really can't decide then maybe you should change the Claire to either Madeline or Amber.
Then your baby girl's name would be either Amber Madeline, or Madeline Amber.
If you REALLY want to use Claire aswell, then your little girl could have a really long name.
It is up to you and your husband.
Im sure that you will come up with something eventually.

I really love both of those names, but seeing as my name is Madeline, and my little sis is called Claire, I would go with Madeline Claire. I think it flows better. Plus, there aren't really any nicknames for Amber if the kid didn't like their name.

I was just thinking about the name Madeline today because my friend's baby's name is Adeline and also the song played on Radio AOL Kids' station the other day. I like Madeline Claire better. It has a nice tone to it. Amber Claire has a nice meaning though (according to babynames.com's meaning).
