You could try making cards - like birthday ect
Its the wrong time of year, but by getting christmas cards and cutting them up, hole punching them and tying ribbon through them, you can make christmas gift tags easily and sell them in bags of, say, 15? This rasied tons of money at my school.

Beaded bracelets with someone's name on them. You can get alphabet beads by the bucketfull at most crafts stores. Get some stretchy cord, some other small pretty beads, and the alphabet beads. When you cut the cord, leave about 2" extra on each end so your daughter can makes knots easily. If she doesn't know how to successfully and repeatedly tie a good square knot, please teach her before she starts making these. The square knot is the best for something that will be stretched because it;s the only knot that consistently gets tighter when pulled.
If she's had a little practice, she can make the bracelets on-site at a crafts sale, or she can take orders. Have a few ready in common names when you get there.

Go around and see what people throw away. You will be astounded by what's out there. If it looks like it can be fixed in20 minutes or less pick it up. Do this a few times then sell the cleaned up fixed stuff in a yard sale. Last time I did this I made about $450.00. I believe it qualifies as a craft.

I would do simple cheap ones. Here are a few I've done before that are fun.
Rice heating pads. You make a pillow out of an dish towle fill it with rice and then sew the top. To use them you heat them up in the micro wave for 2 min. They are awsome.

Jean pocket purses. they are very cute. All you do is take old jeans and cut the pocket out and make sure you keep the back of the pocket in place then add a ribbion for the strap. I've added decerative buttens or simple sew or iron on apleques too to "cute" them up a bit.

LP bowls. These are so simple and fun. Just before you do one make sure the LP isn't a collectable

Who are the customers? If it's the parents and grandparents, they love things made from plastic canvas and yarn. Kids like charms they can put on a backpack, zipper pull or their cellphone.
