For some reason, in almost every press conference I have seen involving President Bush, he has used the line, "I'll let my administration take care of this." or some type of variant of this line. Does he do this because he has no idea what is going on or because his administration does everything for him?

I would also like to add there is usually a very long pause before he says this line.

Bush is only a puppet...Cheney and other members of the Bilderberg Conference control everything. Bush is told how to act and what to say; that's why he's often at such a loss for words when his 'handlers' aren't there to prompt him. The most visible example of that was n 9-11-01 when he was reading books to a third-grade class and was told about the tragedies in New York. He didn't know how to react because he hadn't been prepared or coached. Bush is the worst President in the history of the United States (at least so far). -RKO- 05/27/07

For the same reason he sounds like a broken record at all the rest of his press conferences. He is a buffoon who has run out of halfassed reasons for people to believe anything he says and he can no longer hide his incompetence and lies, so he just starts passing the authority to others to keep the heat off of himself.

Bush always acts like there is another president in the white house. Come to think of it, considering Dick Cheney, there is!
.
Instead of saying " I'll have my administration get right on this..."
or, "damn,,I told those people over at Justice not to do this because I knew it was illegal and unconstitutional..."
.
He instead says this : "...it's my job, as president, to be the decider and commander, but if something goes wrong then it's some one else's fault..."
,
Think "Heck of a Job Brownie!"

He is just a figure head. He has no more to do with running the country then you or I do. Do you think he was really ellected to his position. Or for that matter any presidentsince the 60s. new spirit music.com

He's planning on having his "administration" take over the entire federal government and he's introducing us to this concept. Here it is from the horse's mouth, the White House website, and a conservative on line paper.

Because he's too much an idiotic moron to think for himself and to come up with an intelligent answer. He can't think on his feet so he has to get his "staff" to think for him.... He's SUCH a joke......

He is ultimately the one who makes the decisions. I think he is just tired of everyone raging on him, so he tries to make it a joint effort with his staff, there by taking some of the heat off of him. Remember, he is the decider.
