How do I include (display) a math formula in my question or answer?

just write it using the symbols in the equation. Written math is just written symbols, after all

What do you need to write? Most symbols are on the keyboard or in your computers character map chart. You can even use HTML character or Unicode codes for use online.

Some HTML character codes are:
π for π
∫ for ∫

α for α
This works for all greek letters, including Α for capital letters

∞ for ∞
Σ for Σ

Use the carat ^ for exponents.
