This is weird. It is an unexplainable feeling. It's like a force. I feel as if me and this other person were destined to be together, but it is beyond emotions, somehow. I don't just think that because I have feelings for this person. There's something else there. The bizarre thing is, even before I liked this person, I felt this. And it's like when I picture the future, this person is the only one who seems to fit. Can you... feel your destiny?

While circumstances and society often make things *appear* to be fixed and immutable, remember:
There is no destiny except that which you write for yourself.

I'm sorry to hear about that, and how your mom seems to not really understand what you're going through. I can't imagine how hard that is. I wouldn't say your socially retarded either, just growing up and at a place where things aren't going so easily on a social level. It's ok, in time things will smooth out, and you will find that assurance in self. I went through it too. Sometimes I feel I'm still going through it. Anyway, I do understand what you mean though about feeling awkward in the time you were born into. I feel the same way. I feel I was born at least 150 years too late. I often think how how much better it would be if we replaced cars with horses. It feels like they should still be the common mode of transportation. I think of other things too. Anyway I don't know if you have ever thought about this, or even believe in reincarnation, but have you ever thought about past life regression? Some of what you're feeling may be as a result of something experienced in a recent past life. It can't hurt to explore that avenue. There are people out there that can do that. I don't know of anyone, though I wish I did. I would really like to talk with someone myself. Anyway you can Google it, or just look around online for anyone in your area that is qualified to do it. Be careful and keep your eyes open for potential scammers. Make sure they work in person check out their credentials and get testimonies from clients if you can. Go with your gut and you should be ok. I hope this helps Good luck.

My answer is absolutely YES. Your feelings are a clue to what's going on inside you. Believe it or not, there is someone we are meant or rather destined to be with and that is our soul mate. The way to know if someone is your soul mate is by the feeling you get when you're with the person. There is an instant connection.

I did feel that way about someone--and I was right.
You'll probably get some answers about knowing him in another life, etc.--that's not impossible...

Yes, I do believe in this. I married my best friend and we still both feel the same way about each other. It's been 18 years! He was my friend first but we were always drawn to each other in this way. I can't imagine myself with anyone else and he feels the same way!

I believe we all have senses that we do not understand. Wild animals are more in touch with these senses. But to get straight to your question yes you can feel destined to be with someone. The problem is that not everyone is in tune with these kind of senses and the other person may not have the same sense. That however does not make the sense invalid or any less likely to eventually happen.

I think you can, but just because it comes so easyily and feels so powerful it doesnt mean that it doesn't need work. But, yes. . . You know when you do things and they just feel right somehow - deep down you know whether it's right for you. I don't know if that's feeling my destiny, but it's something pretty special. . . and rare.

Destiny is not a plan in concrete, all kinds of circumstances can change and move that destiny sooner than you think...or later than you would believe possible. But yes, you can feel and know, most people will say its coincidence or just the luck of the draw, but then coincidence and luck is part of a plan too ;-)
