should i get wii and xbox 360 or am i wasting my money?

should i get both or one i like both consoles have the money but should i just get one which one is better for adventure am i right in saying mario galaxy beats-kameo,metroid prime+redsteel beats-gears+ lost planet,and wii sports beats spiderman3

Depends on how old you are, in my opinion the wii is for younger gamers, the 360 has some great grown up games like gears. Kameo is bad example as its a old and not that good game. What about oblivion? beats the wii games hands down. Get a 360 now and consider a wii in about 6 months when better games are available. Halo 3 and bioshcok on the 360 will take some beating. The main point though is do you like the existing Mario games? I personally dont but love advance wars.......I got a 360 and a ds!

The 360 is better for hardcore stuff, like first person shooters, and the Wii is all about inovation, so it all depands on your gaming preference. If you want to know the pros and cons of all the games you listed, I recomend looking up their ratings so you can form your own opinion about wether you want to play them or not.

Also, the 360 has been out for a while, so you'll have a much wider varaity of games, if that makes any difference. The Wii, on the other hand has the the best launch titles of the next gen consoles, and more games are being released quickley.

Going with the 360 and buying games in a genre you are familiar with would probably be the safest way to go if you have the money for it. If you're more adventurous and want to try a gaming experience you've never had before, then go with the Wii. It's cheaper at any rate.

P.S. I heard that Red Steel if kind of iffy.

I would actually just purchase the Wii. The Wii is just so much more innovational than the 360. It's practically a new era of gaming. Yes, the 360 is way more powerful than the Wii, but unless you are a serious gamer, than you probably won't care that much. See if someone you know has the Wii before you get it so you can try it out. I can assure you that you will love it!

I would get a Wii before I'd consider a 360. I got rid of my 360 because it kept breaking every 3 months and I got tired of sending it back to Microsoft to get it replaced since they couldn't fix it.

you care about saving money, get the wii, because they have games, fun factors, playing old games like nes, and play all gamecube games, but the only problems are cannot play cd and dvd

you care about the games, get the 360, because they have alot of games, play most xbox games, xbla games downloadable, xbox live, and most exclusives, and play cd and dvd, but the only problems are overheat and tech issues.
