some people don't have the best social skills, and/or a firm grasp on verbalizing what they really mean.
just ignore the insult. try to read between the lines, and see if there really is any good advice.

Hi Sweetie!! I think it sounds like she is being playful with you. Remember this...Play your little part with dignity and grace...not demanding of others that they move at your pace. I am totally laid back. Soooo no one here would insult you. Your friends here would be all over them,,:)
