Here is a star for you, friend!!!
Good question. It never seizes to amaze me that people at this age still stick their heads in the sand like an ostrich and pretend the problem doesn't exist. They should rent Al Gore's academy award winning documentary, An Inconvenient Truth to get some perspective. Or get a free podcast subscribtion to anderson cooper's 360 daily, to get the update on the planet-in-peril. There is not enough space here to go into it, but unfortunately it is more real than we could have ever initially thought.
By the way, Private Parks, you are an idiot. Sorry to break the news to you. Were you compensating for your inferior intelligence when you picked that name? Open your eyes, buddy.

Vampire Skunk says: Global Warming is real enough, but it isn't caused by mankind producing carbon dioxide. It's caused by sunspot activity - huge storms raging on the surface of the sun which are causing our atmosphere to warm up. As the temperature rises the oceans release massive amounts of CO2. The CO2 isn't causing the warming, it's a result of it. And we shouldn't be too worried about it - it's part of a natural warming/cooling cycle. Of course, we should respect the environment. But all the misinformation we are fed re global warming causes far more harm than good.

I believe in global warming... and Father Christmas and the tooth fairy...
Only joking, but couldn't resist it!
Of course global warming is a real phenomena!
As I live in (incredibly beautiful - but damp and chilly) Cumbria, I am out there every morning with my CFC propelled aerosol hoping to escalate these advantages!

Well global warming is real but not totally for the reasons we think it to be. The earth is not at the hottest it has been and still had large life forms. The earth is going through a melting period we just happened to speed up.

The world might be warming up, but not because of the reasons we are being told.
The world might just be warming up before it goes back into another ice age.
Me questioning if it's real does not make me an idiot, it makes me a person that thinks for himself.

Guess that makes me an idiot then.
I can live with that.
It's just another excuse for the powers that be to tax us and impose their will.
What a load of bull$hit.
