Are there any invitation ideas? What kind of food should I serve? What should I say in my invitations? Any certain type of music I should play? What about decorations?

chips maybe some dip. coll fruits, alcoholic bev. if its an adult party. maybe you could acully make it into a bbq too. im not good with music but maybe some hip hop.... streamers are cool too why not

If it is going to be a big party, I would send invitations. If it is just a few close friends coming to your house, you should just call them. I would go with a theme, like hawaiian party or something that feels like summer. Then I would just coordinate the food, drinks, music, and decorations to the theme. Also, pick ou a signature drink for your party so all of your friends remember it, a tropical-flavored margarita would be good.

For food
- pretzels, BBQ chips, tropical juice ( with little umbrellas ), NACHOS with cheesey dip, coke, hot dogs, pizza, ( no ice-cream so messy )
Invitation
- invite all the people you can boys & girls the more people at pool parties the BETTER !!!!
- say " TROPICAL POOL PARTY " music, dancing , and the time of your life!
MUSIC
- rock, pop, R&B,
- bands- U2, Nickelback, The Fray, Linkin Park, Snow Patrol, Fall out boys

I would serve chips, dips, ice cream, snow cones, and pizza! um for drinks i would do maybe cocktails, depends on age range, squash, punch, or alcoholic beverages.
As for music it depends on what your and your friends taste in music is, i would generally go for a mixture of different styles, get peoples ipods and connect them to your computer?
You could make it Hawaiian theme, that would be great for a pool party, get people to dress up in grass skirts and coconuts.
Oh and most importantly make sure you have a pool lol!

Invite cool people, play good music, have good drinks and beverages. Also, make sure you have some games on hand just incase if your friends wanted to play a game or something fun.

What kinda music do your friends like? You know, for invitations, one year, I recorded myself going "If you wanna party, head on over to my place Saturday night for a good time...' etc. People loved it. A picture of me was printed on the front of the CD (I have friends, man.) I threw in some hot songs too...!
