OK i got caught smoking weed (ya outside stupid place to smoke) and the cop that arrested me told me that when he was younger him and his friends used to get drunk and go beat up stoners. So its like getting drunk isn't that bad and violence isn't bad but smoking weed!!??? That's horrible

Once I got stopped on the street by two young pi... sorry I mean police officers, for no particular reason. They start asking me a whole bunch of questions. I finally lost my temper and asked them what was the matter and mentioned I was not behaving in a belligerent manner and I was not being violent, so why were they keeping me?
One of the cops said: Well, we could be violent too, you know.
I was flabbergasted. I had done nothing wrong, and these two guys with pepper spray, guns and billy clubs were now telling me I was lucky they were so generous as not to be using force on me right now.
Needless to say I had a couple of words for city hall the next day.
P.S. I don't mean to imply all police officer deserve to be called by that other "p" word. Most do a very good job. I'm just talking about those that get a little bit too infatuated with their position of authority.

I was knocked off my motorbike in Stockwell by a car which turned out to be stolen. I was stationary at the time, but the cop was more interested in my driving licence (clean), my insurance (comprehensive) and MOT (the bike was 2 years and ten months old!) than in the guy who hit me.
Later I received a notification that I would not be prosecuted.

I once pulled over a car which had failed to stop at a stop sign....I went over to the drivers door and in a very officious voice said sarcastically, Whats up are you blind? It was only then that I realised that it was a left hand drive car and the passenger, was in fact blind.....(believe it or not this is a true story) sort of drove away at a very fast speed after that and learned my lesson

well, it dunno if its ridiculous, but it sure as hell sounded that way to me. A few months back, some friends and I got into a pretty bad car accident (the other driver was drunk and complete smashed the whole right side of the car) and my friend was hurt. When the cops got there, i was crying (obviosly, i was freaking out) and the guy comes up to me and says "Why the **** are you crying?". I was so mad. WHY DID HE THINK I WAS CRYING?!?! i dunno if its just be but i thought it was ridiculous, rude and totally out of place.
