It depends. Usually they stick you in the same phone to prevent people from breaking their phones and claiming insurance to switch phone types due to bad service. But talk to the insurance rep and see what they tell you. If they are out of that phone then they will substitute a similar priced phone for it.
You could also ebay a used phone for around the price of your insurance deductible as well.

You can only replace the phone you lost. The company's name is Asurian and they will overnite your replacement phone to you and ask that you send back the broken one to them. It the phone is lost then you need a police report. They will charge you around $50 for a deductable. Verizon discourges this but you can go to WalMart and buy a pre paid package and activate that phone on your plan. They are the same phones that they sell at the store for plan buyers. You can either call them to make the change to the new phone or you can do it online with your online Verizon account. Good Luck...

I don't know for sure but if said phone got bad service wouldn't it stand to reason that a cheaper phone would get the same service quality or worse. Maybe you should consider another brand in the same class of phone.

YOu can get a replacement.

Be presistent and ask for a supervisor when they slow you down. YOU will not pay any $$$$$$$ an get a replacement.

My brother by possibility dropped his telephone and went to Verizon. The coverage did not conceal it and he ended up paying approximately $a hundred plus the activation fee for a similar top telephone. The coverage is a waste.
