dvd + requires that you can only record on dvd+ (cd's) and the same goes for dvd-.. this means that you will not be able to record on all types of dvd and you may even have problems reading some data dvd's the best solution to this is that +/- dvd's writers now exist and cost virtually the same and allow you to use all types without even thinking about it :o)

They are different standard, like Betamax and VHS, DVD-RW is more compatiable with DVD players

There differnet standards.. like DVD & Blueray...
Get a DVD-RW, more common !
