I just purchased three soft cover books by Rudyard Kipling. They are "Plain Tales From the Hills" "Unde the Deodars" and "Soldiers Three". They are from 1899 and the books have a swastika printed on their covers associated with a picture of the elephant-headed Hindu god Ganesha. If anyone knows if these would be worth anything id like to know. thanks

Often the quickest way to asses the value of a book is to try to buy it:
The Advanced Book Exchange is a good option.
To sell to a dealer, expect between a half and a third of the proce they'd sell it to you. (which might tempt some people to offer them on ebay!)

A quick search suggests they will not be worth much, unless a first edition or in exceptional condition.
A set of six hardbacks fom 1914 is on ABE for $25

Kipling kept the swastika symbol until the Nazis adopted it.
