Just have to answer because your flag waves out of the avatar - ain't an American I encountered that can draw and work software to get an avatar to be real art, although I've seen avatars from three or four that are claimed Anericans that likely were plants from Russia or East Germany.

On Veteran's Day I say thank you to all the people that serve my freedom. On Memorial Day I think about remembering the dead and thank them for their service in my mind...

Memorial Day is about honoring veterans who died defending their country,
Vetetrans Day is about honoring veterans in general.

I thank Veterans on Veterans Day. On Memorial Day, I take flowers to my grandpa's grave.

My grandfather served in WWII, my father in Vietnam, several of my friends are in the service now. I thank and honor them every day.
