I'm collecting coins and trying to find rare ones. I'm looking to get a large amount of coins to search through. I know banks have them, but is there any other places that will give up rolled coin?

First let me tell you that you are a very smart individual, and I myself have been a roll searcher for the past 3 years. Go to your local bank and ask them to order boxes of whatever denomination you want, just be aware that a box is 50 rolls of that denomination. If you need extra help or just want to here about the crazy stuff ive found you can look at my guide on Ebay. Its called "Collecting Half Dollars, etc. Through Rolls" and explains what I go through and what steps you should take before, while, and after roll searching.

I 2 dabble in coins and I found that if I go to flea markets after having posted notices in the area, many people will gladly bring coins, and I pay them in equivalent dollars. Have fun and good luck. I once got an american eagle coin that I sold for $837.

I'm from Las Vegas. There you can go to any grocery store and buy rolls of coins from the 'change girl' by the slot machines. If you have any way to get to Nevada -- or any other place where gaming's now legal -- go to any casino and buy rolls of coins there. Of course slot machines are great, albeit unpredictable, places to get coins, too.

Hey...you know what? this sounds kinda' weird but I get mine at the laundry mat. They always have rolls ready. If that doesn't work just go to the bank, you don't even need an account.
