How to answer this question?? There are just so many answers- I don't know if there is a best one. I would have to go with the sound of a person's voice who you care the most about, whether it is something they said in particular or just the way they made you feel when they talked to you.l

The sound of my dresser drawers opening and closing during earthquakes. And also the sound one makes when running down a second floor hallway, because it sounds just like an earthquake. =O/

The crinkle of the plastic when they were zipping my Dad into his body bag....

Lots of chain-saws early in the morning(7:00)ish and the crackling sound of timber and pine tress going down...summer after summer by our family cabin....and the loggers yelling back and forth to one another.....and the wood chipper.....(at least I think that's what they were doing!)
