Its actually di-chloro,di-fluoro methane

Methane has the formula CH4, the dichloro, diflouro part means that the hydrogens are replaced by 2 fluorines and 2 chlorines.

Its has the chemical formula CCl2F2

and looks something like this:
......F
......I
Cl-C-Cl
......I
.....F

It can have other isomers as well.

First of all, it is misspelled. The compound is dichlorodifluoromethane, or CCl2F2. This is one of the "freon" gas compounds that was messing up the Antarctic ozone layer. It was used extensively in air conditioning, but is being replaced by less objectionable gases. I like the word of the day idea. Keep it up. Send me one if you have the time.

I think the friend wants dichlorodifluoromethane, CCl2F2. It's a refrigerant gas used in refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners. It is one compound; there are no other isomers.

In 1995 this refrigerant was discontinued in refrigerators amd aerosol spray propellents. It was better known as Freon 12.
