For the past month, my man and I haven't gotten to spend any time together "just us" between work, family, school, or being sick...I really really miss him.

Any suggestions on how to get his attention and make "us" a priority?

How about telling him what you just told us ! Honesty is a good thing.

Start keeping a calendar and schedule "us" time just like anything else. You'd be surprised how much even a 15 minute walk hand in hand can do for a marriage. Your relationship is an important aspect of your life and you have to make time to keep it strong. I would be direct and polite when requesting this from your man. Say something like "I love you and enjoy spending time with you. I feel like our relationship comes last on the list and I'd like to brainstorm ways we can schedule some time for just the two of us. You are important to me and I enjoy spending time with you." Hopefully we won't be able to resist!

Send him a "Wish you were here" postcard, and on it put, "Because I love you and miss you." If that doesn't work then check out your milkman or Postie. (Wink, wink.)
