Hello, my last period was on the 10th of may. When would be the best time to take a test... i am due on the 7th June? Should i wait a week after, thats if i havn't had my period yet?

Many pregnancy tests advertise themselves as being effective five days before your period is due. However, personally I would wait until at least you are officially late.
I know that it can be very nerve-wracking waiting for your period to come and wanting to know if you are pregnant, but taking the test too soon could give you a false negative (it takes some time for pregnancy hormones to build up in the body).
Also, early miscarriages are very common -- some doctors believe up to 50 percent of pregnancies are not viable and therefore a pregnancy never really starts. Taking the test early may give you a positive result because your body is producing hormones to support a pregnancy but the egg may not be viable or implant well and the pregnancy won't go forward. In this case you may get a slightly late or heavy period, but my feeling is that I'd rather get a late or heavy period then go through dealing with the thought of a miscarriage (I've had two at 10 and 6 weeks).

The new tests are so sensitive, I would test on the 7th if you have not started. If is in negative and you still don't start, try again in a few days. I found out with my first one 4 days prior to when I was suppose to start my period!

well for you to get the most acurate awnser, i believe is best to wait past your period.. good luck....
