i know vb. but dont know asp.in this situation which 1 shld i learn?which has got the more market demand?

Asp.net and vb.net go hand in hand you need to know both to work effectively in Asp.net. If you are going to be building web pages then learn Asp.net and VB.net, if you are just going to be writing windows applications then just learn VB.

ASP.NET is not a programming language but rather a Microsoft technology for building web applications using the .NET framework.
To write ASP.NET applications you have to use a .NET language, for example VB.NET. Developing web applications requires you to learn some other web technologies like Javascript, HTML, and CSS.
