my husband is in boot camp when he gets out will the army pay to move us and our things

Yes.. they pack and move you for as long as he is in the army....so every time he gets orders to a new base...they move you....its nice. Just make sure you kind of watch them pack your expensive things....we have NEVER had a problem but you NEVER know....it definately helps you not have to stress about moving tho :)....and Good luck to you guys....I grew up military so I have respect for the troops and to the women who marry them as well...its tought to be a wife of a military man sometimes...with the wars and all....but dont stress about moving, its all taken care of!

My husband is also being deployed and Yes the military will move you home but then you will pay to move back to base. Also he will only get the amount of housing allowance that is stated for the base in which he is stationed. You get ONE move. If I were you I would stay where you are, you will lose contact with the other spouse and with your husband. If something would change over there and you husband can't inform you and your FRG leader gets the info, they may not pass it on to you.

If you are married yes the army will move you, or give you moving expenses. As long as you are in the army and they want you to move they will move you for nothing.

Once your husband gets his orders and is going
to a duty station then the family will be moved by
the military. If he is going overseas and family
members are allowed to go where he will be de-
ployed then the family will be moved at military ex-

They sure will if they are sending your hubby somewhere, theyll move your things for you. but the things that you have got to look for is the location that they are moving you. sometimes the cost of living is higher, and therefor its much harder to get by. especially, when the pay that hes making doesnt improve any! it may be much harder than you think, or if not, then may be hard to addapt to the location it is! say, texas vs. colorado!!?? The military pays everytime. I don't believe that they pay food and hotel, but I would check on that too.
