we are in the process of trying to bring some sort of democracy there.
think of it as if you were watching an operation on someone, and as they try to save their live, it is messy, bloody, but the reason for all that blood is trying to do a good thing for them!
or a birth, in the middle of it there is plenty of pain, lots of blood, nastiness, but the end product is a baby!!
same thing here, you are watching the messy part, but this is not the intended end product, the end product is hopefully an Islamic Democray.

Depends on who you ask - the people who risked all to vote in the three elections would certainly answer differently than if you asked an Islamic radical terrorist.
