The show is great. It adds a twist to the classic latin soap opera. I love the constant message it is relaying: Looks are not everything. It's cheesey, but it is totally true. Betty is completely successful in the fashion world without being a size 0 or being tall and gorgeous. And I love the characters of Mark and Amanda. They are mean, but hilarious. All the characters are hilarious actually. I can't wait until next season! Especially with the shocking ending of this season!

I love that show! It's really different. One of the things that makes a good show is how we out here in the audience relate to the characters. We have to care about them to become a fan of the show, and that's where Ugly Betty rules. Betty herself is someone that we recognize in ourselves. There's not a one of us who hasn't at one time or another felt inferior or that we don't quite fit in. That's why we're rooting for Betty and why we feel her pain when someone hurts her feelings. It's almost like we know exactly how she feels in all the different situations she finds herself in on the show. The other characters are good too, whether they're despicable, funny, or very human like her family. I predict Ugly Betty will be around for a long time, and the main reason is America Ferrera herself for portraying such a great character.

I love it, yes sometimes the storylines can be a bit OTT like the whole Faye killing and Alex(is) but I think it shows how superficial society is and especially the fashio world. Betty is so sweet and has a good heart but people like Amanda better simply cos she is attractive even though she has a nasty side to her.

Oh my god I so love this show . It is too funny and great and I absolutely love it and cannot wait for the next season to start. I love it .

I started watching it last week here in Italy and I find it really good.It's particularly suited for our contemporary society based on appearance.

i watched only 1 episode but i thought it was kind of boring and its ideas were really old
