I would contact your doctor or the emergency room ASAP. Anything that you feel isn't right you should always get checked out. I never had cramping until the end obviously, but call your dr. to rule out a miscarriage.

Oh, honey those sound like contractions!! You should be timing them and take note if they are coming closer together. I had a miscarriage a few years back and it started out with a little pink smear when I went to the bathroom that morning, then I had cramps all day long until the evening they started getting closer and closer together and almost unbearable. On the way to the hospital I was in an extraordinary amount of pain, and I had a miscarriage and D&C once I got there.
The only other thing it could possibly be is implantation pain? I know some women say that they have implantation bleeding, but I had really severe cramps like you are describing, except continuously for about 45 minutes instead of at intervals like contractions. Anyway, I would go to the doctor or at least call and describe what you are experiencing!

Some women cramp while pregnant. I have with all of my pregnancies. If there is no blood, and no other symptoms, then I would say it is probably either your uterus starting to stretch, or your ligaments starting to stretch. They can hurt, but they should go away. If they are a constant pain, I would get it checked out. If they go away and you only have them a few times a day, that's normal. If you notice any blood at all, or the pain gets really bad and seems to last, go the ER today. I would let your doctor know on tuesday, since I'm sure they won't be in tomorrow. That way, they know about the cramping.

Not to freak you out but....
I've been pregnant 8 times and had 3 miscarriages and 1 ectopic. The ectopic hurt like hell. Much worse than period cramps. Mine ended in surgery. I can not urge you enough to get treatment asap. If it is an ectopic and it ruptures you would have the possibility of bleeding to death.
I had a miscarriage the month before the ectopic and was pregnant the moth after the ectopic. He is now 3.
I wish you the best of luck! Please make haste and get checked.......
Here is a website with the symptoms and treatments:

not typically. But I have had heavy cramping that was short lived during a few early pregnancies. Although if you are bleeding and cramping I would suspect a miscarriage...I am sorry )-: if thats the case )-:
