Because you either do not have enough bandwidth to buffer the video, not enough ramm or you have too much junk on your system using your processor and memory to work efficiently. Junk= bearshare, banzaibuddy, limewire, weatherbug, smileys, free screensavers, webshots, hotbar, etc

Hey there,
The only program you need if you can't watch videos or if you see a black screen is Adobe Flash Player. It's a necessary plug-in that allows you to reproduce videos online.
I was looking for a free download Adobe Falsh Player I found it here http://bitly.com/1p3PSQb
Cheers ;)

i have a good Internet connection but some of the u tube videos do stop and start......best way is to start it running ,turn down sound and play a game of snood or do something else for a couple of minutes while it gets far enough open then start it ...the video will have finished opening by the time you catch it up

Ehm..
Adobe Flash Player is the solution if you see a black screen while you 're watching videos, or if you have other problems watching them on Youtube or on Facebook.
Should you need to download a recent version of Adobe Falsh Player get it here: http://bit.ly/1p3P2TA
Cheers ;)

It's probably a Network Connection problem or they are 'buffering' (loading the next part/all of the video ready to play).

either a slow intenet connection on your part or the utube system is overtaxed.
Your computer has to download the file or a good part of it to play.
Have your parents get you a higher speed ( more expensive ) broadband internet connection

it's probably your connection speed. If you're on broadband or DSL, it won't freeze
