Yes, in every sense of the word. Get Jenna Jameson's book: HOW TO MAKE LOVE LIKE A PORN STAR and she tells you how difficult it is for both genders.
The men have got to stay hard all day long, usually with drugs, which will hurt eventually, and NOT come, and get in difficult positions for the camera to see them. There is no emotional connection, pay is not that great for men, politics is out, social life is out, and relationships are out. Lots of sex, no love, no fulfillment.
And no this is NOT from personal knowledge.

from a guy who known a porn-star guy it not all that it crack up to be . he says it hard to keep it up for 4 hour. just so all the shots are done.
